This is a Céline Luggage Tote in a muted neutral / taupe shade, rendered in structured grained leather. The iconic winged side silhouette, curved front stitching, and top handles make it unmistakably part of the Céline Luggage family. The tote also features a braided leather zipper pull and polished hardware.
Design Era & Creative Direction
The Luggage line was launched during Phoebe Philo’s tenure at Céline (she took over as Creative Director around 2008–2009), and it quickly became her signature “It bag.”
Because the bag remains in a more classic, neutral colorway and retains the original Luggage aesthetic, it likely comes from a post-2015 to recent production run, still within the Philo legacy era or slightly after.
Over time, Céline has shifted creative direction (after Philo), but the Luggage Tote remains one of the brand’s most iconic carryovers.
