W San Francisco Hosts Cinematic NOIR Runway Show to Celebrate the Season

W San Francisco transformed itself for a cinematic fashion experience on December 13, where the hotel’s annual Holiday Fashion Show reimagined as “NOIR” drew fashion insiders, creatives and hospitality leaders from across the Bay Area. Event producer Johanna Dy and fashion show director Eddie Cotillon welcomed designer Calvin Hom, classical performing artist and poet Michael Wayne Turner, Tony-nominated performer and producer Xavier Rernard Cunningham, designer Joseph Domingo and Healdsburg Fashion Week Committee leaders for an evening showcasing the intersection of fashion, performance and movement through a rich palette of midnight black, deep burgundy, molten silver and gold accents.

Designers Renée Messinger, Jillian Shafer and Jon Rodriguez and Alysia Chang brought nuanced pieces to the runway, styled in collaboration with Luxe by Julianna, with collections brought to life through movement-driven choreography that enthralled guests. Event décor styled by Luxe by Julianna and Entertainment by violinist Tristan L’Heureux, soprano Nicole Koh and DJ Works enhanced the Last Look Holiday Pop-Up Market featuring curated gifts from Viviana Luxury, Luxe by Julianna, Curamourie Haus, Drink Teya and Charmed in SF, while VIP guests enjoyed exclusive access to W’s Silent Night Speakeasy, with wines from Copain and La Crema, and Moët & Chandon champagne alongside a private meet-and-greet with the designers.The lucky attendees received thoughtfully curated gift bags featuring products from SkinSpirit, Cocokind, Shades by Shan, Hustle & Heart, Viviana Luxury and Acqua di Parma, celebrating the hotel’s tradition of highlighting emerging and established talent through cultural and community events.
